| Secondhand
Smoke, also known as Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS), is the third
leading cause of premature death in the United States. It is estimated
that second hand smoke accounts for as many as 62,000 deaths every
year. Secondhand smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, 60 of which
have been shown to cause cancer. Inhaling secondhand smoke can cause
lung cancer in nonsmokers and is a serious health risk to children. |
